Our ETHAD8DAC2 is a further developement of the proven USB-AD8DAC2 and makes it possible to easily make AD/DA measurements and TTL controlling by using a supported TCP/IP network.
Please notice that an external 5V power supply is needed to use this module independedly.
This professional Ethernet AD/DA module provides up to 8 AD channels and 2 DA channels, which are capable to convert signals with up to 14 bit.
The ETHAD8DAC2 also has 24 TTL I/O channels, and two 32 bit counters onboard. The counter has a maximum frequency of 1MHz. Both, TTL I/O and counters are easily accessible through the 37 pole female D-SUB connector.
A/D ModesUsing the ETHAD8DAC2 two A/D modes are provided.
Differential ended mode with 4 A/D channels and a 12 Bit resolution
Single ended mode with 8 A/D channels an a 11 Bit resolution
The mode may be easily changed by supported driver functions.
Analog-To-Digital-ConversionThe ETHAD8DAC2 needs 20µs coversion time in differential ended mode by using one of the following measurementranges: +/- 20V, +/- 10V,+/- 5V, +/- 4V, +/- 2,5V, +/- 2V, +/- 1,25V, +/- 1V.
Sindle ended mode uses a measurement range of +/-0..10V by using the same conversion time.
Digital-To-Analog-ConversionThe 2 D/A outputs provide a 10 Bit resolution with a voltage range of +0..5V and may be charged with up to 10mA.

SoftwaresupportThrough implementation of this module into the QLIB (QUANCOM Driver Library) no knowledge in driver programming is needed and an easy to use programming API for Windows 7 / Vista / XP / 2000 / Server 2k-2008 R2 is provided. By using the QLIB it is easy and fast to develop applications using modern comilers like Delphi, Visual Basic, Visual Basic.NET, Visual-C, C#, C/C++ or graphical IDE i.e. Agilent VEE and LabView. Sample projects for the most languages are located on the driver CD and on this website.
