The QUANCOM® PCIREL16 relais-card is the small version of the PCIOPTOREL16 with no opto coupled inputs . The PCIREL16 allows you to switch up to 1A or 30V at maximum (up to 15W switched power) with it's 16 relais. You can monitor the state of each of the card's outputs through 16 LED's. With it's switching time of only 1 ms the card is able to produce quick output changes.
The PCIREL16 relais card is supported by the QLIB ( QUANCOM Driver Library ), and allows you to quickly and easily program the card under Windows XP, 2000, NT 4.0, 95, 98, ME, Agilent VEE and Labview. Through the QLIB there is no need to write your own driver for this card. The card is fully accessible through the QLIB-API and it's functions.
With the QLIB you are able to write applications with Visual-Basic, Visual-C, Borland Delphi or other modern compilers or interpreters very quick. It is even possible to acquire the card data out of MS Excel, MS Access, Labview or Agilent VEE . The Visual-Basic example is a small test-application which tests all relevant functions of the card and may be used as a good starting point for own applications.
Because the QLIB is an API, and provides it's functions through an DLL, you may access the card in all applications, which provide external DLL-functions.
The functions of the QLIB are equal for all supported operating-systems. An Application once written with Windows 95 is able to run with Windows XP.
The PCIREL16 is also available as USB module USBOPTOREL16 , as ISA card OPTOREL16 or with opto-coupled-inputs as PCIOPTOREL16 .
